Going To The Gahden!

May 19, 2008

Tomorrow I’m shipipng up to Boston for game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. I was supposed to go for game 1 of round 2 but plans were changed at literally the last minute. I told myself if they advanced there was no way I wasn’t going to a game in the next round. Now they just better win or it will be an expensive depressing trip.

The Hypocrisy of the Liberal Elite

May 16, 2008
It is really hard to watch “mainstream” news these days. When I do watch, I usually just end up laughing. Not because anything is particularly funny, but because it keeps me from getting too angry. All I’m hearing these days is defenses of Barack Obama about the Reverend Wright.

“Lets get back to the issues!”

“This is dirty politics at its worst!”

Really? Aren’t these the same people that tried to hold Mitt Romney’s feet to the fire about religious practices that were abolished before his birth? Aren’t these the same commentators that would drool all over every ridiculous quote from Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell and portray them as somehow being connected to George Bush, even though they weren’t his pastor?

I’ll remove the suspense. Yes. Yes, they are.

Now these two-faced cheerleaders are telling me that any question about what a candidate willingly listens to in his Church is off limits and a cheap shot? I don’t think so. Continuing to patronize (and donate to) the Church is a tacit endorsement of the content that is taught inside. How can it not be? There is nothing wrong with that, it just is what it is. I could never continue to sit in a Church if what they were saying was offending me. I never have…and neither has Barack Obama.

New Trailer For “Against All Odds”

May 2, 2008

Last night we debuted our new trailer for the feature length documentary “Against All Odds” at Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vermont at the Burlington College Film Festival. The reaction was fantastic and the night was a great success for us and also many of our friends and crew members who showed off some of their other projects as well. We also were able to arrange having Doug and Gary attend as special guests.
