I’m Going To Game 7!
October 21, 2007…And I have an extra ticket. Anyone have a couple hundred bucks?

Well, it was incredible, of course. This was my 5th game at Fenway this season. I’ve been to more games over my life than I can count. The last 3 innings of that game was the loudest I’ve ever heard that park. The loudest I’ve ever heard a crowd anywhere. This includes game 1 of the 2004 world series because I was lucky enough to be there.
My camera didn’t do such a good job that night. I promise to do better at game 2 of the World Series…I’ll be there!

WHY did I miss reading this post? I would have paid a pretty penny to attend that game. Or any game. I’ve got a story for tomorrow’s blog.

Too bad. We had 4 and there were only 3 of us. We tried the scalping game for a little while but (a) I didn’t want to spend game 7 in jail and (b) it isn’t fun dealing with those types of seedy characters. So we ended up dumping off our 4th ticket that was $140 face value for only $200 to get it over with.
Not only this, but the girl we sold it too turned out to be INCREDIBLY annoying. Her scream had a pitch that was not natural for human beings.
