Day of Cowardice

The City of Los Angeles has settled with exposed opportunist Tennie Pierce. The settlement reached is a reported $1.43M. I suppose this is not a total loss, as it is a $1.3M savings from the original agreement that was nixed by Governor Villaraigosa last fall. But how will change ever come? How will we ever eliminate the things that plague our society when we scarcely ever muster the will to stand up and fight them?

In the end, we couldn’t realistically expect more from our adulterant Governor and a City Attorney that in the year since the original firestorm has proven to be woefully corrupt, unqualified, hypocritical, and a liar. (Among other things, etc., etc.)

And you wonder why I’m sick of LA.
